Ice Fishing – Finland Winter 2010

I was invited to go ice fishing by a couple of locals. This entailed standing out on the frozen Baltic, drilling holes and cutting out blocks of ice to lay nets. For transport we had a 1970s Snowmobile that couldn’t cope with deep snow… Despite the biting wind and -15c temperature it was a lot of fun.
